Любопытно - не та ли это гостиница, которая здесь называется "Говард" (осторожно, гугльперевод):

אב קליאופס עלה לבדו למנזר ב1887, השם קליאופס הוא שמו של אחד האנשים שנפגש עם ישו באמאוס. במקום הייתה חווה שנקנתה על יד הטרפיסטים וכן עוד כמה בניינים, הבולט מביניהם היה אכסניה שנקראה מלון המכבים, זה היה מלון שנבנה באמצע המאה, עם סלילת כביש יפו ירושלים, על ידי האחים בטאטו, אך ירד מגדולתו בעקבות סלילת הרכבת לירושלים בשנות ה90 של המאה ה19. בשנת 1890 מושלמת רכישת המנזר, בעזרת ממשלת צרפת, והנזירים עולים למקום.
